Do you work alone?

No,I do not work alone. I have my cousin that is a cosmetologist. She does the hair and helps in makeup also.

Why did you want to be a make-up artist?

I love makeup it’s my passion. I just don’t do it for fun but I love it. Being able to enjoy doing makeovers and seeing peoples’ reaction of my work gives me inspiration in what I do. I just have fun with my profession as a makeup artist.

When did you first discover you had this talent?

My mom tells me stories when I was smaller that I love to mix match my clothes in different colors and that I would love to put makeup and put on stick on nails. Then I began to grow up and I noticed that I loved to be different and funky. I would ask for my birthday to be given makeup and for Christmas to be given makeup. I love colors. So, lets say since I was a little girl I loved makeup. Now I finished school and I am a professional makeup artist.

Who was your first client?

My first client. Wow! That’s a good one. Well in my first fashion show is where I had many clients. It was with Stark & Starks Productions.

Have you had any traumatic situations since you have been a MUA? (i.e. a runway show disaster, fashion shoot gone wrong)?

Yes. I had to do a birthday girl and mother on the same day of a fashion show. It was very stressing. It will not happen again. Lol

If you could work with anyone in the industry who would it be?

That’s a good one. I would like to work with Tyra Banks for Americas Next Top Model.

Who’s your favorite designer?

Valentino Garavani, Tom Ford, Betsey Johnson

What inspires you?

My inspiration is having fun and showing my mother that her helping me was the best thing she could have done for me. Knowing that her sacrifices and hard times were well worth it. My mother inspires me .

If you could choice between (bold, bright and bam!! in your face) or (calm, sensual, and timeless) which would best describe you?

It is easy I love the bold. Bright I like the bam! I love being different.

What has been your favorite project thus far in your career?

Finishing school and having the support from my family.
