German/Persian Soul-Singer

Where are you from?

I was born in Persia (Iran), my father is Persian, my mother is German. I grew up in Germany, close to Frankfurt and still live there.

Since a 3-4 years now i´ve been travelling back and forth between Miami and Frankfurt though, so I can actually say, Miami is my second home!

How long have you been making music?

I´ve been singing since childhood but got seriously involved with recording my own music since 10years now!

In the past 2 years i finally recorded my debut album, which will be released in Europe May 10th, June/July also in the US!

What inspired you to make music?

My first inspiration to so sing was my mother, who always sang with us as kids, made us join the choir and is a classical singer as well. She always inspired me to always have music in my life.

Michael Jackson was another great inspiration, specially with his message in his music and his charity towards children in Africa. As a child i figured, if you can make so much money with music and help others who are in need, i want to do that as well! And so i did! ;)

The real inspiration to make music more than a hobby in my life, came after highschool, when i began working as a studiosinger and won talent shows on Radiostations etc. The confidence in my voice and my stagepresence grew slowly but surely and so i started to make music my main job!

How would you classify your style, and why?

My style is a timeless mixture between Soul, HipHop, Jazz and Classic. Most people would call it Neo-Soul nowadays!

This is where it all comes from:
.- Soul, since my biggest influence has been Soul music all my life, i guess, that´s why you hear it in my voice and music!

- HipHop, because i´m also a dancer and grew up with HipHop.

- Jazz and Classic, through my guitarist Felix Justen, who i´m writing my songs with. He writes his guitar melody and i write the melody i sing and lyrics.
- Timeless, because i´m not trying to follow any trends...i just make music from my heart and soul.

Do you have any albums, or featured tracks coming out, or already released?

A complete success for me would be, to sell my music worldwide, tour worldwide on a regular basis and be on a level like SADE, to where people enjoy listening to my music for many years, even after i´m not alive anymore. I would love to make as much money with my music, that i can live off it comfortably, help my family and friends and found my own charity organization to build schools and hospitals in Persia and Africa.

Do you have any albums, or featured tracks coming out, or already released?

In the past couple of years I´ve only released tracks on various compilations: "Outta my mind" on "Mercedes-Benz Mixtape 7", "Gone" on "The Finest", which is a HipHop compilation, and "I don´t feel you" on Honeymoon Suite Vol.1.

Soon you can even hear me on King Britt´s new Sylk130 Album, that we recently recorded 2 tracks for!

The most important release for me, of course, will be my debut album "Endless Melody", which will be out soon, as i said earlier. The single "Endless Melody" will be available as a download April 24th already. My album will be released under the german Indie label "Reevolution Music" and contains 15 tracks!!!

We even release the album as Vinyls, which i´m very excited about!

Any final thoughts to your fans?

Thank you already for all the love and support i received internationally even long before my album release! I appreciate it all and don´t take anything for granted!
